Hi, we’re Reina and Ty—the creative duo behind Ray of Light and Empire Film Co. United by a shared passion for storytelling, we approach each wedding with an intentional, artful perspective, crafting films that feel deeply meaningful, cinematic, and distinctly yours.

Reina is the owner of Ray of Light, where she brings a refined creative vision and an intuitive, heartfelt approach to every story she tells. Since 2025, our connection has evolved into a seamless partnership—one that shapes both our lives and our work with a shared sense of purpose and artistry. What began as a mutual passion has grown into a collaborative experience, thoughtfully blending our perspectives into something cohesive and elevated for every couple we serve.

Ty is the founder of Empire Film Co., with a background in fine arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts earned in 2016. Since beginning his journey in wedding filmmaking in 2017, he has developed a signature style rooted in authenticity—capturing real, unscripted moments with a refined artistic eye. His calm, unobtrusive presence allows each story to unfold naturally, preserving moments as they truly are.

Together, we focus on the in-between moments—the laughter, the quiet glances, and everything that makes your wedding day uniquely yours. As a couple ourselves, we understand how important these memories are, and we’re dedicated to creating films that feel genuine, timeless, and deeply personal.
